Festivals connects us together !!!

It strikes my mind every year in the month of August that a big event is about to happen in near days. I lookup the calendar & feel happy as  Calendar says its " Ganesh Chaturthi" which you are looking for. It reminds me about the importance and the speciality about the occasion.Everyone would have felt it,but few try to express the feeling like i did.The story goes on as follows ...
In India,it is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. Hinduites celebrate this fest with great pride and prestige.
Like every other individual,i was also waiting for the day on September 13th 2018. Soon i started planning things to make this festival meaningful and more colorful. Took a piece of paper and started writing down things to buy, things to arrange and the activities to be carried out. Placed the paper on the table. One day before the festival, i recalled the plan i made in the mid of the august. Many tasks were pending and not done. In a hurry i tried to do all of them as only a day left out for the celebration.Woke up early at 4 am and rushed into the market to bring flowers, vegetables and fruits. Came back from market  and saw the sweet home was left undecorated. Then,Brother and me indulged into shaping the things and decorating the house to give a festive look.Things were little odd when it was left unadorned. As soon as every family member saw us busy  in adorning the home, they came forward to become helping hand for us.  They gave the house a beautiful look and a festive mode  with the flowers and color papers. As things were moving aside, some sort of essence and flavour from the kitchen started to poke our nose.We saw mother bringing up all the delicious food one after the other in a container and arranging them all in the dining hall. Its quite obvious that our focus disturbed and we rushed up to clean the furniture's, washing vessels and vehicles, took bath and were ready. We all setup near pooja room where everybody started praising us for the decoration we made, especially for the Little Lord Ganesha". Pooja room was all flooded with flowers and flavors. Everyone prayed from their bottom of the heart for the goodwill and health.By then, it was starving for all to enjoy the best part of the festival. We rushed towards the dinning hall to savor payasam, kadabu, holige till our stomach gets full.
It's a happy occasion where your family get together and celebrate the festival with good food. Everywhere its a festive environment with loads of happiness and fun. We took few pics and clicks with all wearing new dresses.Played games, sang a song and all fun together.
Last but not least, these festivals plays a vital role in bringing the people together, share the happiness and get togetherness among them out of the normal busy daily routines.. More and more festivals should be practiced to keep all this fun and happiness endlessly.
